Dr. Plastow was the 2023 NSIF winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award. He worked at PIC for many years and then moved to Alberta to work in academia. He started Delta Genomics that was more recently acquired by GeneSeek.
Mary Kate works for Dr. Ignacy Misztal and has done research in several topics involving swine.
Caleb is currently a PhD candidate with Dr. Jared Decker at the University of Missouri working with the Maschhoffs dataset on mortality.
Dr. Ciobanu was the 2022 NSIF winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award. He has been instrumental in his research on PCV2 among other research projects that helped the swine industry.
